Use this guide when replacing another CMP with Cybexo CMP.

1. Preparation

1. Inventory current CMP scripts/plugins/SDKs.
2. Identify all domains/apps and tag containers affected.
3. Export current consent configuration for rollback reference.

2. Replace Existing CMP

1. Remove legacy CMP script/plugin from site/app.
2. Add Cybexo integration using relevant setup guide.
3. Ensure only one CMP implementation remains active.

3. Validate

1. Confirm banner appears once.
2. Confirm Consent Mode v2 signals and ordering.
3. Confirm TCF API behavior if enabled.
4. Run Audit Checklist (Pre-Launch).

4. Go-Live

1. Publish during planned window.
2. Monitor support and analytics impact.
3. Keep rollback package ready for first 24 hours.
